About this Collection
A natural material with distinctive properties, wood is subject to environmental changes that cause variations to its color, shape, physical characteristics and dynamic. Zenporium works with the natural beauty of wood to develop designs that respect its properties and embrace its natural characteristics. Natural wood designs include solid wood dining and conference tables, consoles, coffee tables, side tables, benches and stools. While each piece is shaped to accommodate an intended function, its natural features are preserved throughout the design process, projecting the strength of its original character and beauty over its assumed function. Wood used in Zenporium’s furniture is salvaged wood that is reclaimed then reinvented, or newer wood (i.e. 5 to 10 years) that is government certified to ensure grown in sustainable forests, legally harvested and fairly traded. Measuring up to 4.5 inches in thickness, and 9 feet in length, Zenporium’s natural wood collection includes pieces made of teak wood, coffee root, mahogany, and suar. Furniture pieces can be customized to fit your desired style through simple modifications. These modifications include refinished surfaces, custom-designed wooden or metal bases, and perfectly contoured glass tops made to order upon request.
